Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Taos Health System in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including medical history, physical examination, and laboratory results.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including medication administration and wound care.
  • Monitor and report patient progress to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of New Mexico.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an ER RN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
