About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dining Server to join our team at Fairmount Homes, Inc. As a Dining Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our residents while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Service Delivery: Deliver hot and cold foods, and liquids, to specified locations with each meal.
  • Meal Service: Serve meals to Healthcare and Personal Care residents, working closely with nursing team members.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare toast for breakfast, and coffee for Café and Personal Care, for all meals.
  • Portion Control: Portion/serve cold sandwiches, condiments, salads, fruit, desserts, special nourishments, thickened liquids, and beverages.
  • Table Setting: Set tables in Personal Care dining room for meals.
  • Cleanliness: Remove dirty dishes and napkins after each meal in Personal Care, sanitize tables, and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate, clean, and maintain the dishwasher.
  • Supply Management: Portion, and deliver, nourishments and supplies between meals to the Healthcare and Personal Care specified by nursing staff and the dietitian.
Requirements
  • Basic Knowledge: Must have basic knowledge of safe and sanitary food and equipment handling practices.
  • Personal Hygiene: Personal hygiene and dress must conform with required standards.
  • Communication: Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
