About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Music Therapist to join our team at AccentCare. As a Music Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in a hospice setting, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, utilizing music therapy models and techniques to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
  • Provide music therapy sessions to patients, adapting to their unique needs and preferences.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, using data to inform care decisions and improve services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy or Music Therapy from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) approved university.
  • Board Certified as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable automobile.
