Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dough Preparation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and cutting dough, as well as rolling dumpling/bun skins, stuffing, closing, and arranging dumplings/buns in a steamer. If you have a passion for working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, measure, and cut dough to the required specifications
  • Roll dumpling/bun skins to the correct thickness and shape
  • Stuff, close, and arrange dumplings/buns in a steamer
  • Add meat and allergen identifiers as required
  • Steam dumplings/buns to perfection
  • Maintain a clean and organized working space and dumpling room
  • Label all items in accordance with regulations and procedures
  • Attend monthly staff and dumpling meetings
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and recipes
