Recreation Therapist Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Recreation Therapist to join our team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a key member of our Allied Health department, you will play a vital role in providing outcome-based Treatment, Leisure Education and Recreation Participation interventions for patients.


About the Role:
  • Work part-time with a weekend commitment, working day shifts and weekends from 8:00am-4:30pm.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide billable treatment services to a diverse patient population, including Acute Rehab, Chronic Care, Ventilator Dependent and Gero-Psych.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have a Recreation Therapist certification (CTRS) and one year of experience or internship in a Rehab/Hospital setting. Experience with MDS and Care Planning processes is a plus.


Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $21.10-$31.59 per hour, based on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
