Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with toileting, transferring, and mobility.
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Accurately document care activities and report any changes in clients' conditions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience.
  • Ability to commit to 12-hour and 8-hour shifts in the assigned areas.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to clients' homes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of clients.
  • Comfort working in homes with pets and potential exposure to secondhand smoke.
  • Key qualities: compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy.
  • Health requirements: completion of a 2-step PPD within the last 12 months, a chest X-ray within the last 2 years, or a QuantiFERON Gold Test.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate: $13-14 per hour (plus on-call pay).
  • On-call pay: $25.00 per shift for being on call (not an hourly rate).
