CORP Talent Resources is seeking a seasoned Registered Nurse to lead our client's surgical team in delivering exceptional patient care. As Director of Surgical Services, you will oversee all surgical operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained in the surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Surgical Services department, including personnel management and coordination of surgical operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Foster a culture of quality improvement and patient safety across all surgical services.
- Conduct staff training and performance evaluations to enhance team skills and provide mentorship.
- Work closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to optimize surgical schedules and enhance patient flow.
- Analyze departmental budgets, operational procedures, and resource management to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Promote interdepartmental collaboration to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent nursing experience in an acute care setting with surgical services management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current and valid RN license in TX or multi-state compact license.
- Preferred: Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR).
- Preferred: Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM).
