Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver - Over the Road to join our team at Perdue Farms. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods between company facilities, customers, and distributors.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including hours of service, log book, vehicle inspections, and load inspections.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork, including manifest, bill of lading, proof of delivery, and trip reports.
  • Unload and load products at various locations, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL license
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Minimum two years over-the-road tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Strong communication skills
