We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Foreman Electrician to join our team at Watt Acquisition, LLC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems on various industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations at construction sites, coordinating tasks and assigning duties to electricians and apprentices.
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and devices in buildings, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Work with other electricians and contractors to complete projects, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Diagnose electrical problems in industrial settings, using advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve issues.
- Conduct circuit tests to ascertain their operational status, whether energized or de-energized, and measure voltage, amperage, resistance, and phase displacement using electrical instruments.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and contractors to provide updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on work activities, including labor hours, equipment usage, and project milestones, providing valuable insights for project optimization.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures on-site, conduct regular safety inspections, and promptly address any safety concerns or violations, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Train and mentor construction workers to perform specific tasks in a work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- 5 years of experience as a foreman or in a similar role in the industry, with a strong track record of project delivery and team management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and safety regulations, with a focus on electrical installation and maintenance.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and construction plans, with the ability to interpret complex technical documents.
- Proficient in using Procore, with experience in project management software and tools.
- Valid Driver's License, Journeyman License, and OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of construction/trade workers.
- Leadership skills, with experience in managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Familiarity with construction equipment and tools, with a focus on electrical installation and maintenance.
- Customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.
- Decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
Occasionally extended hours and overtime may be required to meet workload demands. Standing/walking for extended periods of time, climbing ladders/scaffolds, and working in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow, are common requirements of this role.
Equipment or Machines Routinely Used in This Position- Company devices, including laptops and tablets.
- Ladder, hand tools, and heavy machinery, with a focus on electrical installation and maintenance.
90-day evaluation of employment and annual performance review will be conducted to assess performance and provide feedback for growth and development.
