Position Overview

The Interventional Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in the field of interventional radiology. This position requires expertise in various procedures and a commitment to excellence.

Certification Requirements
  • Certifications Needed: BLS and ARRT
  • Essential Skills: Experience in IR, Angiography, and Special Procedures, with a focus on Neuro and Interventional Radiology.
Job Responsibilities
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shifts
  • Case Types: General interventional radiology cases, diagnostic neuro procedures, including drainages, CT scans, embolizations, TIPPS, angioplasty, and stent placements.
  • Daily Patient Load: Manage a caseload of 5-10 patients
  • On-Call Duties: Required to be on call for 10 shifts per month
  • Flexibility: Must be willing to float between units of similar or lower acuity levels.
  • Health Precautions: Potential exposure to patients with Covid-19.
