Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Harford County Public Schools. The successful candidate will provide physical therapy services to students with educational disabilities, as approved by the Individualized Education Program (IEP) and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy assessments and evaluations as approved by the team.
  • Interpret test results and write assessment reports.
  • Participate in the development of IEP/IFSP's.
  • Provide physical therapy services to students with an approved IEP/IFSP.
  • Consult with physicians and outside agencies; share information with teachers, administrators, and school health staff as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required special education forms.
  • Provide training to school-based staff.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold or be eligible for a Maryland license as a physical therapist from the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH). Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, are essential for this role.
