Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing wound care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Coordinate care plans, including scheduling appointments and communicating with healthcare providers.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
  • Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in the State of Maryland.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • CPR and first aid certification required.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Phlebotomy skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
