Job Summary

National Bankruptcy Services (NBS) is a leading provider of technology-enabled bankruptcy servicing solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Bankruptcy Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor bankruptcy accounts in assigned portfolios to ensure compliance with client and bankruptcy rules and regulations.
  • Review court dockets and case information via electronic case monitoring to determine when attorney action is required.
  • Track payment delinquencies and respond to client inquiries regarding files assigned.
  • Analyze and take appropriate action on all mail relevant to client and assigned files.
  • Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors, and debtor's attorneys.
  • Close files appropriately and timely.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Review NDC and Trustee websites to determine status of claims.
  • Review plans to determine treatment.
Requirements
  • Excellent oral, written, and communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow in a high-volume production environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma with 3-5 years of verifiable work experience required (will consider bachelor's degree in lieu of work experience).
  • 1+ years of Consumer Bankruptcy or Consumer Lending Experience.
