Position Title: Vascular Ultrasound Technician

Company: UNC Health Care

Overview:

We are looking for a qualified vascular ultrasound technician to conduct a range of vascular diagnostic tests. This role provides the chance to utilize advanced technology and engage in specialized assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre- and post-procedure patient support
  • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment
  • Create high-quality ultrasound images
  • Contribute to the training of staff members
  • Document and manage patient records
  • Prepare examination rooms and necessary equipment

Qualifications:

Education: Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related discipline

Licensure/Certification: Registered by ARDMS or CCI, or eligible for registry

Experience: Previous experience is not mandatory

Position Details

Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation: $43.10 per hour

Work Schedule: Day Shift, Three 12-hour shifts on weekends

Overtime Status: Non-exempt

Additional Information: This role is part of the UNC Health Care System and includes a $15,000 commitment incentive over a three-year period. We are committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients.
