Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A to join our team in Vacaville, CA. As a Regional Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in Northern CA, Reno, and Carson City, while enjoying a 4-day work week with a guaranteed 45+ hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight, or assisting in the loading/unloading process
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
Benefits
  • Competitive pay: $1600 or more per week
  • Hourly pay: $30.62 per hour
  • Per diem: $50.00 per night with 1 night out a week
  • Nights out booked in Ryder-paid hotel
  • Sign-on bonus: $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days
  • Paid training
  • Uniforms, cell phone, and boot allowance provided
  • Paid personal time off starts at day hours accrued in the first year
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits start at 30 days

Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Class A verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle
