Job Overview

The Decor Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of decor for The Cake Bake Shop, ensuring a cohesive and inviting atmosphere across all locations. This position requires a collaborative spirit, working closely with the President/Owner to conceptualize, develop, and execute seasonal decor themes that enhance both the interior and exterior spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement visually appealing decor that aligns with the brand's identity and overall aesthetic.
  • Coordinate logistics for decor installation, ensuring all department heads are informed and prepared for seasonal transitions.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team to uphold safety standards and ensure decor elements are suitable for public areas.
  • Manage the setup, arrangement, and removal of decor during seasonal changeovers.
  • Organize and maintain decor inventory in accordance with Executive Team guidelines.
  • Oversee the upkeep of decor throughout the year, replacing items as necessary and reporting significant needs to the President/Owner.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all decor items to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track decor items, maintaining optimal stock levels and facilitating timely orders.
  • Assist the President/Owner at trade shows by managing and organizing decor items of interest.
  • Engage with the President/Owner to grasp her vision and objectives for upcoming decor changes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in decor management or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on prioritization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite applications.
  • Physical capability to lift items weighing over 50lbs.
