Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor Valve Service Specialist to join our team at Constellation Energy Generation, LLC. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and technical expertise to oversee the maintenance and repair of large bore valves in our nuclear power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Outage Valve Services Technicians to ensure safe and efficient maintenance of valves in accordance with company procedures and regulations.
  • Provide direction and guidance to technicians to support the development of technical skills and knowledge.
  • Interface with station schedulers and planners to plan and execute work, ensuring that all maintenance activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Recommend training and procedure changes to support the safe and efficient execution of valve maintenance scope of work.
  • Oversee project and maintenance activities of multidisciplinary teams to support nuclear fleet in outage valve maintenance and online projects.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with plant procedures, NRC regulations, and site schedule.
  • Administer coaching, mentoring, and performance management for assigned employees, including initiation of disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Supervise vendor inspections and repair of plant equipment, ensuring effective procurement and use of materials, parts, tools, equipment, and M&TE.
  • Ensure effective communication of company programs, announcements, policies, and feedback to assigned employees.
Requirements
  • Four-year technical degree with five years of relevant experience, or two-year technical degree with seven years of relevant experience, or high school diploma or equivalent with nine years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum five years of experience working with large bore valves, including in-body welding.
  • Three years of experience in nuclear power plant maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supervising maintenance craft personnel at an operational nuclear power plant.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent travel to various nuclear power plant locations and may involve working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
