Job Overview

Position Summary: The role involves the thorough cleaning and sanitization of egg processing machinery while adhering to all company standards and regulatory requirements. The individual will also support the Sanitation Lead with various tasks and projects as necessary. This position operates during overnight hours, typically from 6 PM to 4 AM, with some variability in schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Disassemble, clean, and sanitize all food-processing machinery.
  2. Utilize proper cleaning techniques, including high-pressure washing, chemical application, foamers, and scrubbers to achieve optimal cleanliness.
  3. Handle cleaning agents while strictly following usage instructions and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  4. Maintain cleanliness of overhead areas, floors, and other surfaces within the facility using suitable cleaning methods.
  5. Ensure all product pipelines are cleaned effectively.
  6. Perform self-assessments post-cleaning to verify cleanliness standards.
  7. Adhere to all company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
  8. Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Physically agile and capable of lifting up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, twist, and lift overhead.
  • Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
