About the Role

Buckner Retirement Services is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team on a PRN basis. As a LVN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized health care plans and administer treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Maintain compliance with Buckner policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Make meaningful rounds of residents, utilizing health care plans, and accurately record visits on charts.
  • Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, perform in-house testing procedures, and take vital signs.
  • Assist in maintaining current health care plans and documenting acute episodes or significant changes in resident status.
  • Supervise aides in the performance of their duties and assign tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Texas nursing licensure.
  • Previous experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 2 shifts every 60 days to maintain PRN status.
  • Proficient ability to speak, read, and write English.
