About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Technician to join our team at Sappi. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair electrical system faults and malfunctions
  • Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance on electrical equipment and systems
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and conduits
  • Test and inspect electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Collaborate with operations and scheduling teams to plan and complete tasks
Requirements
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent Union membership
  • 5-10 years experience in electrical work, including rough-in, trim-out, and conduit installation
  • Experience working with electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams
  • Prior computer experience, preferably with SAP
  • Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on market forces, internal equity, and skills brought to the job.
