Mira Vie at Brookfield, a community of Distinctive Living, is seeking a skilled Medication Aide to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional care.
About the RoleThis position requires a caring and detail-oriented individual to provide medication management services and personal care to our residents. As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for following resident service plans, documenting tasks, and communicating with medical professionals and families. You will also participate in meal service and assist with staff supervision during working hours.
Responsibilities- Deliver medication management services and personal care to residents in accordance with their service plans.
- Document completion of tasks and observed changes in condition.
- Communicate with other Medication Aides about resident needs for consistent quality.
- Participate in meal service and assist with staff supervision.
- Maintain required certifications and comply with local and state regulations.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- One year of experience in a caregiving role or similar function.
- State Required HHA Certification or CNA License.
- Supervisory experience of six months or more in a health-related field.
- Able to read physician orders and match to Medication Administration Records.
- Understanding of medical terminology adequate to pass medications and communicate with medical professionals.
- Estimated salary range: $25-$35 per hour, based on location and experience.
