Staff Registered Nurse RN PCU Progressive Care Unit

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our team in Grapevine, Texas.
Job Summary:As a Registered Nurse RN, you will be responsible for overseeing patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your key responsibilities will include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed clinical assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families, managing discomfort and staying professional.
- Help educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and community to create a care plan, delegate tasks carefully, and follow up promptly.
- Use problem-solving strategies to address patient, family, and staff needs, recognizing limitations and prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and valid nursing license.
- BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
