Job Summary

The CAO Risk Management QA Audit Supervisor is a critical role within U.S. Bank's Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Risk Management team. This position is responsible for leading the testing and supervision of staff to ensure the integrity and execution of the Bank's Quality Assurance (QA) program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in audit and risk management, with experience in leading audits, reviewing control testing, and supervising team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design assessments of controls to determine their effectiveness in mitigating related risks
  • Design testing strategies and lead process inquiries, walkthroughs, and procedure reviews to support QA testing workpapers
  • Directly supervise the performance of QA Analysts and review testing documentation to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Lead advanced QA tests and analyze evidence of control performance against internal program-defined methodology
  • Present process improvement proposals to reduce risk of control failure and drive process efficiency
  • Perform or lead validation reviews to assess the adequacy and sustainability of management corrective actions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Typically more than six years of applicable experience
  • Advanced knowledge of audit/quality assurance/risk management methodology
  • Experience in leading audits, reviewing audit/QA control testing, and supervising team members
  • Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends
  • Strong analytical, process facilitation, and project management skills
  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
