Job ResponsibilitiesKey Job Duties
  • Preparing patients for dental work: Ensure patients are comfortable and prepared for their dental procedures by explaining the treatment plan, administering anesthesia, and positioning them correctly.
  • Assisting with infection control: Maintain a sterile environment by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
  • Supporting dentists in medical emergencies: Assist dentists in managing medical emergencies such as allergic reactions, cardiac issues, or other health-related crises.
  • Providing patient education: Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control programs, and other dental health topics to promote healthy habits and prevent oral diseases.
  • Recording treatment information: Accurately record patient treatment information, including medical and dental histories, vital signs, and postoperative instructions.
  • Maintaining equipment and supplies: Caring for dental equipment, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory to ensure efficient operations.
