Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant is a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, working under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in a hospice setting. This role requires a compassionate and skilled individual who can deliver personalized support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, as assigned.
  • Assist with feeding, toileting, and ambulation, as needed.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the Case Manager.
  • Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
  • Adhere to the organization's documentation and care procedures, as well as standards of personal and professional conduct.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
  • Understanding of hospice philosophy and ability to provide specialized care to the terminally ill.
  • Satisfactory references from previous employers.
  • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
