At Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician PRN to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician PRN, you will play a vital role in providing distributive pharmacy services, assistance, and support to our registered pharmacists.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist registered pharmacists in providing pharmacy services, including medication preparation, dispensing, and counseling.
- Conduct inventory management, including ordering and stocking of medications and supplies.
- Process and manage patient records, including medication profiles and treatment plans.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure accurate and efficient pharmacy operations.
**Requirements**
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Registration with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within thirty (30) days of employment.
- One (1) year related pharmacy experience and/or training or graduate of certified training program/healthcare careers college preferred.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
