Job Summary

Samba Care is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examination Room Preparation: Ensure examination rooms are properly prepared for patient examinations, including setting up equipment and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Radiopharmaceutical Administration: Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Patient Positioning and Comfort: Position patients and equipment to ensure optimal imaging results, while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
  • Scan Sequences and Data Entry: Enter commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, monitoring video displays to adjust density or contrast as needed.
  • Patient Monitoring and Safety: Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring their safety and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
  • Diagnostic Image Production and Reporting: Produce high-quality diagnostic images, reporting important information to physicians and updating patient records accordingly.
  • Procedure Scheduling and Supply Management: Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice to patients.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
