Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing property facilities. The ideal candidate should possess a background in general maintenance and repair, coupled with outstanding communication skills and a strong dedication to customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across various systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and pool/spa maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers, ensuring timely completion of all work orders.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, including materials used and hours worked.
- Assist in vendor management and coordinate with external contractors and service providers as needed.
- Participate in after-hours emergency on-call rotation and assist with snow removal when required.
- Provide your own basic hand tools; Roundhouse will supply power tools and larger machinery.
- Adhere to all safety protocols as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and consistently represent the company positively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in general maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Capable of standing, walking, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Salary & Benefits:
