**Job Summary**
Seeking a dedicated and results-driven Corrections Supervisor to manage daily activities of Security Supervisors, Corrections Officers, and Inmates in an institutional setting. As part of our team, you will contribute to the public safety mission by supervising and monitoring staff on assigned shifts to ensure a safe, secure, and productive environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and counsel staff to achieve high-performance goals.
- Coordinate work schedules and assign duty rosters for assigned shifts.
- Contribute to the administration of performance management systems for staff.
- Conduct ongoing inspections to maintain security, sanitation, and good order of the institution.
- Interact with management, staff, visitors, inmates, and the public to maintain orderly and secure operations.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
- DCJS Certification.
- Experience in corrections or law enforcement.
- Experience supervising corrections staff.
- Working experience planning, scheduling, and/or organizing work, including timekeeping and duty roster management.
- Experience reviewing and evaluating records and reports and applying post orders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of practices and procedures governing security and/or administration.
- Ability to receive, understand, follow, and give oral and written instructions.
- Working knowledge of firearms, radio equipment, physical control devices, electric and electronic controls.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Advance knowledge in Criminal Justice or related field.
- LEAD Graduate or equivalent applicable experience and/or training.
- Working experience with evidence-based practices.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook.
