Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team at Office Pride of Houston-Montrose. As a Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our clients' facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, vacuum, and damp mop hard surface floors and carpeted floors.
  • Dust work surfaces, furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces.
  • Wipe down walls, woodwork, doors, wall hangings, baseboards, etc.
  • Clean restrooms, including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors, and walls.
  • Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen.
  • Clean entrance glass and other interior glass.
  • Remove trash from containers and replace torn or soiled liners.
  • Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
  • Arrive at scheduled time, perform services to established standards, and ensure clients' facilities are locked and secured when finished.
  • Respond positively and promptly to customer work orders.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma preferred, but not required.
  • Cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
Language Skills:
  • Ability to speak and write English or Spanish fluently and relay information between team, customers, and office staff.
Work Environment:
  • Physical demands include walking, standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive movements.
  • Travel to/from customers' business locations required.
  • Uniforms must be worn during work hours.
