Position Overview
This position involves delivering direct clinical care to patients. The individual will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and executing clinical care for assigned patients during each shift, as well as overseeing the unit's operations. The role includes supervising staff to whom care responsibilities are delegated. The individual will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintain the competency of clinical staff, and manage resources effectively in relation to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an active and valid registered nurse license in the state of practice.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.
Educational Requirements
Required: Completion of a state-approved or accredited nursing program.
Preferred: An academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's).
Certifications
Required: Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice nursing as mandated by law, regulation, or policy. CPR certification is also required.
