The role of Injection Molding Technician is integral to the Repligen manufacturing team. This position entails overseeing the production, assembly, and quality assurance of both simple and intricate components within our ISO 9001 certified facility.
Shift Details
This position operates during the 3rd shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Sunday through Friday AM).
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and manage automated machinery effectively.
- Interpret inspection schematics to identify visual defects.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace while achieving targeted production rates.
- Adhere to all elements of the Quality Management system and Quality Policy.
- Meet or surpass production targets for each component.
- Accurately complete production documentation for each task.
- Keep records in compliance with established procedures.
- Efficiently manage time for each product to ensure timely project completion.
- Exercise proper care and handling of molds and equipment to minimize downtime and prevent damage.
- Demonstrate proficiency in all equipment and assembly processes for each work area.
- Identify potential issues or inefficiencies and communicate with team leads to reduce waste and enhance processes.
- Exhibit teamwork and maintain a positive attitude to support company objectives.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes within our Quality system.
- Provide assistance in other areas as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Experience in assembly is advantageous.
- Cleanroom experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Capability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Visual inspection of small and detailed components is required.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $20.00/Hr. - $21.00/Hr., which includes shift differentials. Compensation decisions are influenced by various factors, including qualifications, location, internal equity, and market alignment. Additionally, employees may participate in variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health/dental/vision coverage, retirement benefits, and flexible spending accounts. All compensation and benefits details will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
