Banquet Server Job Description

At MacGregor Downs Country Club, we are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team. As a Banquet Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional service and a memorable experience for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and set up banquet areas, including tables, action stations, buffets, and dessert tables.
  • Communicate with the kitchen to ensure that meal requirements, allergies, and dietary needs are met.
  • Clear and crumb tables, and replenish buffet items to maintain consistency and freshness.
  • Monitor tableware and ensure it is presentable to guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned stations and service areas.
  • Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, plate ware, glassware, and flatware.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience as a server is preferred.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, sitting, and carrying heavyweights.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
