About the Job

Ascension is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing computerized tomographic procedures to diagnose disease and injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within accepted scope and regulations.
  • Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements

Licensure and Certification:

  • BLS Provider certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • One or more of the following certifications are required:
    • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Education

A high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's degree or Technical degree, or 4 years of job-specific experience is required.
