Metrology Technician

As a Metrology Technician at ZF Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and calibrate our measurement equipment, ensuring that it is functioning correctly and providing accurate results. You will also be responsible for programming and operating our Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), as well as performing statistical analysis to qualify measurement equipment. Additionally, you will work closely with our quality team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and calibrate measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
- Program and operate CMMs to measure and inspect parts
- Perform statistical analysis to qualify measurement equipment
- Work closely with quality team to ensure products meet quality and safety standards
- Lead 5S activities for the lab and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Working knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Thorough understanding of GD&T principles and applications
- Thorough knowledge of measurement gauges and CMM operations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
