Job Summary

The World Equestrian Center Ocala is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our facilities. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in maintenance, janitorial services, and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of maintenance and janitorial staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met.
  • Facilities Management: Inspect facilities and units to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Work Order Management: Assist in generating work orders for the Engineering Department and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Customer Service: Promote excellent customer service among team members and monitor customer satisfaction ratings to ensure high standards are met.
  • Uniform and Grooming: Ensure team members wear proper uniforms and maintain a well-groomed appearance.
  • Physical Requirements: The Facilities Supervisor may be required to stand, walk, reach, climb, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Language: Must be able to understand and write English.
  • Experience: 2 years of janitorial experience and 2 years of supervisor experience preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to solve practical problems, deal with variable situations, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
