Position Overview:

Varwyne Talent Collective is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to contribute expertise in our engineering projects. This role involves providing technical support to project management and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee power and lighting distribution systems in accordance with project requirements, under the mentorship of a licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Coordinate and manage the activities of 3D modelers and 2D drafters to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Review and prepare project specifications with guidance from a Professional Engineer.
  • Generate and assess production submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Support the estimating process for electrical contractors by participating in jobsite evaluations and defining project scope.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in an electrical contracting or architectural/engineering firm is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit software is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and reviewing project specifications is required.
  • Experience in conducting jobsite evaluations and generating bills of materials is necessary.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage teams and communicate effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow projects through to completion.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time for jobsite visits.
