At G&A Partners, we are seeking a skilled Residential Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for reviewing blueprints, specifications, and related documents to calculate project costs and build project estimates.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in estimating large residential projects, including experience with room additions, remodels, restoration, and new construction. You will also be familiar with insurance policies and coverages, and proficient in Xactimate estimating software.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing project plans, specifications, and related documents to estimate project costs
  • Collaborating with project managers to ensure awarded project cost is managed against the estimated value
  • Creating scope of work and change orders when projects run over initial budgets
  • Preparing and submitting residential projects to insurance providers for approval and supplemental claims
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key customers
  • Computing cost factors and preparing estimates by planning, producing a work schedule, and prioritizing work activities
