About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our Prime Services Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with a global team of Software Engineers to deliver robust applications servicing the financial trading industry.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
  • Strong RDBMS expertise, including SQL querying, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, and user privileges.
  • Excellent data analysis, design, and problem-solving skills with a desire to learn in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in performance tuning of stored procedures and queries.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes for loading large data volumes (e.g., SQL Loader).
  • Basic knowledge of Unix commands and experience working in a Linux environment.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
  • Knowledge of Core Java and Python, along with scheduling tools like Control-M is a plus.
  • Experience in database modeling.
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud is a plus.
  • Strong analysis and design skills in the Financial Industry, preferably in Capital Markets/Securities Finance; 5+ years in the financial sector is advantageous.
  • Understanding of financial industry glossaries and terminologies.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, delivering end-to-end solutions.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical teams and business partners.
  • Quick learner, adaptable, and motivated to work across teams to deploy solutions.

About the Team

You will be part of the Prime Services Technology team, responsible for the management and development of systems supporting the Prime Brokerage business within Client Capital Markets. Client Capital Markets serves a wide array of clients, including buy-side institutions and hedge funds, offering trading products and services across multiple asset classes such as equities, fixed income, options, FOREX, prime brokerage, securities lending, and more.
