Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Neuro Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs, implementing individualized plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs, utilizing computerized documentation systems to track patient progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, educating patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current licensure with the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
