Position Overview:
Emergency & Specialty Inpatient Technicians carry out a range of animal health responsibilities and ensure high-quality care for pets and their owners. The Inpatient Technician should be adept in inpatient responsibilities, including but not limited to: patient monitoring, venipuncture, patient recovery, and medical calculations. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of emergency, critical care, surgical, and laboratory techniques and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong emergency & critical care veterinary technician expertise
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Outstanding communication skills
- A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in veterinary practice
- Capability to perform standard veterinary medical procedures
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Veterinary Technician license is preferred
