Meat/Seafood Clerk Job Description

Tops Friendly Markets is seeking a skilled Meat/Seafood Clerk to join our team. As a Meat/Seafood Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that all meat and seafood products are properly handled and stored.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Weigh, wrap, price, prepare, and label meat or seafood products
  • Maintain proper case conditions, including cleaning, stocking, straightening, and rotating product
  • Fulfill customer requests for meat/seafood products and answer customer questions
  • Ensure proper handling and storing of product
  • Ensure proper operation of and temperatures in cooler, prep area, freezer, lobster tanks, and cases
