Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Library Clerk at Payson City. As a key member of our library staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate records, and performing a variety of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to patrons, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process library materials, including checking in and out books, DVDs, and other materials, and maintaining accurate records of circulation.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls.
- Operate a computer and other equipment, such as copy machines and scanners, to perform tasks and assist patrons.
- Work collaboratively with library staff to achieve goals and objectives.
- High School graduation or equivalent.
- One year of experience in general clerical and customer service duties.
- Preference will be given to applicants with at least six months experience in general library services.
Varying shifts, including evenings and Saturdays, with a minimum of 15-20 hours per week. Library hours are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
