Job Overview

Everstaff is in search of a skilled Trial Litigation Paralegal to support a reputable legal firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage billing and timekeeping processes.
  • Draft and prepare various legal documents.
  • Assist in discovery processes, including e-Discovery, and handle records requests and reviews.
  • Redact sensitive information in documents.
  • Evaluate and vet expert witnesses.
  • Conduct thorough background investigations.
  • Provide support for mediation and trial preparations.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in defense litigation.
  • Proven expertise in trial preparation.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat and trial presentation software such as Trial Director.
  • Familiarity with CaseMap, TextMap, and TimeMap is a plus, along with knowledge of legal research tools like WestLaw, LexisNexis, and Accurint.
Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000. This firm promotes a balanced work-life environment and offers comprehensive benefits, including paid parking and bonus opportunities. The workplace is paperless and supports remote work, with an open-door policy and a mentoring program.
