Network Solutions Architect Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Solutions Architect to lead our team in designing and implementing secure network architectures. The ideal candidate will have experience with traditional Cisco NX-OS, Cisco ACI, and SD-WAN technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to develop secure network architectures that meet performance, reliability, and innovation needs.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot software-defined network (SDWAN) architectures, including Cisco ACI and traditional NX-OS architectures.
  • Develop secure network architectures and designs that minimize risk while meeting business requirements.
  • Lead complex technology discussions to explain architecture build and deployment plans and ongoing operational use.
  • Design and implement security-driven infrastructure solutions for segmentation, such as virtual NGFW, physical firewalls, and cloud-native security.
  • Develop standards with customer teams, including Risk and Compliance, Engineering, Infrastructure Services, and Application Development.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives across Customer and ePlus teams.
  • Collaborate with business and technology experts to develop defense-in-depth security reference architectures, security architecture standards, and frameworks spanning all layers of security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or Associate Degree.
  • At least one professional certification, such as CCIE, CCNP, or CISSP.
  • 10-12 years of experience in Network Architecture and/or Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with traditional Cisco NX-OS and related technologies is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and/or SD-WAN is mandatory, including design and implementation of policy, scripting, and automation using REST APIs, Python, and other tools.
  • Deep routing protocol experience, including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF, is mandatory.

Compensation Package: $120,000 - $170,000 annually.
