Evening Medtech/Caregiver - Full Time - Orchard Ridge Assisted Living

Your Role and Schedule:

This Full-Time Position requires working Sunday through Thursday, 2pm-10pm. Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering and assisting with medication management according to prescribed schedules
  • Providing assistance with personal hygiene tasks, such as showering and nail care
  • Assisting residents with morning and bedtime routines, including dressing and undressing
  • Conducting oral hygiene care for residents
  • Performing grooming tasks to maintain resident cleanliness and appearance
  • Supporting and assisting with the facility's toileting program
  • Offering queuing and assistance during meal times to ensure residents' nutritional needs are met
  • Helping residents with safe transfers, utilizing gait belts, sit-to-stand lifts, and Hoyer lift equipment as needed
  • Accurately obtaining and recording vital signs; promptly reporting any unusual findings to the shift lead or charge nurse
  • Responding appropriately to residents' emotional and behavioral changes
  • Reacting swiftly and effectively in emergency situations, including responding to the resident emergency call system
  • Encouraging and facilitating resident socialization and participation in community activities
  • Communicating and documenting any concerns or observations regarding residents' well-being to the charge nurse and in the electronic MAR
  • Being able to stand, sit, stoop, crouch, bend, and lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • MedTech Certificate (required for MedTech role)
  • CPR and First Aid certifications preferred
  • Experience as a CNA is advantageous but not mandatory
