The hourly wage for this position is $27.00+, paid weekly with overtime compensation based on days worked.

Job Description

We are seeking several Lab Chemist-II to work in our incineration unit. As an Environmental Chemist - Incineration Unit Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing samples to determine their chemical and physical properties using chromatography and spectroscopy techniques. This role requires individuals who prioritize health and safety above all else.

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment that adheres to OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze facility samples using GC, GCMS, ICP, and various analytical laboratory instruments.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
  • Properly manage waste generated from analytical procedures.
  • Document, record, and analyze data and information efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a related field required.
  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting is necessary.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and quantitative skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is mandatory.
  • A valid US driver's license is required.
  • A background check, drug screen, and physical examination will be performed prior to employment.
