Police Custodian

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Police Custodian to join our team at the City of McAllen, TX. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our buildings and surrounding areas.

• Perform various janitorial duties, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, emptying trash and recyclables, and restocking supplies.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Department Head/Department Supervisor.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, using discretion and judgment to make routine decisions.
• Interact with colleagues and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner.
