Your extensive banking expertise and experience will provide additional value to both customers and your colleagues.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Start with a warm welcome for every individual who contacts or visits a branch, demonstrating that the customer is appreciated.
• Utilize each customer interaction as a chance to engage in meaningful conversations and gain a personalized understanding of their financial needs and objectives.
• Share your insights regarding Tri Counties Bank's services, products, and partnerships to assist customers in saving money, increasing their earnings, or enhancing their banking convenience.
• Implement suitable solutions for your clients, ensuring follow-through and honoring commitments to meet their financial needs and goals.
• Exemplify leadership by embodying the One Team philosophy, which includes collaborative efforts with business partners to acquire, expand, and maintain customer relationships.
• Mentor and develop branch team members in product knowledge, relationship building, partner collaboration, and skill enhancement.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Keep precise sales records and regularly review sales outcomes with the Branch Manager, preparing an action plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Stay informed about Bank policies and procedures.
• Maintain a current understanding of and ensure compliance with regulations, including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, suspicious activity reporting, Reg B/Fair Lending, Reg Z/Truth in Lending, Reg DD/Truth in Savings, Expedited Funds Availability Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Community Reinvestment Act, and the SAFE Act.
• Assist fellow team members with non-primary assigned duties as needed and perform other work-related tasks as required.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Previous experience in sales and cash handling is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Above-average knowledge of Bank products and consumer lending is required.
• Prior experience in bank sales as a Personal Banker is necessary.
• Capability to lead and guide others is important.
• Proficiency in utilizing personal computers and Windows-based applications is required.
• Ability to successfully complete Bank product and sales training courses and obtain necessary certifications.
• Must be eligible to register as a mortgage loan originator (MLO) in the Nationwide Mortgage License System and Registry (NMLS).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• May need to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
