Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Current certification to practice surgical technology in Oregon
  • Successful completion of a training program for surgical technologists or equivalent experience
  • 16 hours of continuing education every two years relevant to surgical technology
  • Healthcare Provider AHA BLS certification
